  • Understand legal compliance and best practice in each stage of the employment cycle.

  • Demonstrate what best practice looks like in a healthy and productive workplace.
  • Make a plan for improving employment practice in your organisation.

Praise for this course

Previous participants (2019) said:

  • “The scenarios were very effective. The legal requirements were most useful.”
  • “It’s helped me to clarify what is essential (and required legally) in getting set up as an employer.”
  • “Really excellent trainer, training & venue - all very well communicated & organised.”

Why is this relevant or important now?

Employers have faced many tough challenges in the last few years – coronavirus brought us furlough, school closures and business closures, plus there was uncertainty before and after Brexit, and the HR world has seen the growing importance of mental health awareness and genuine diversity and inclusion at work.

You need to make sure you are doing your best as an employer to support and develop your team, and to avoid high staff turnover. In return you can expect to strengthen staff wellbeing, commitment and performance.
